SL is finally over!!! All our planning and late nights really paid off. Although it was a one day event, alot of planning went into this and I'm glad that the event was successful. A big thank you to all who contributed to the success of this SL: Ms Hu, for helping us to get hold of her contacts and for being with us all the way / my fellow classmates for contributing in every little way. I really appreciate you all making an effort to come. Praise the Lord for the wonderful weather too, for it to only rain heavily after everything was over.
The kids were the most playful and mischievious kids I have ever seen but I'm glad we managed to control them. I really take my hat off to the social worker, having to deal with these kids everyday. Haha she must be superwoman. Now here are some pics:

3 weeks overseas...the longest time I have spent outside of Singapore. Haha but it was worth it. A totally new experience for me. I was really glad to meet all you guys in this OCIP journey. Teaching the children was tiring at times and sometimes totally frustrating, but in the end when it was time to leave, I really felt sad. I know that we all feel the same way. Sometimes its hard to let go. Really miss 3/2 and also the school and of course Luk, such a wonderful and helpful teacher, always translating whatever we say and guiding us in all that we do. I will also miss all the J2s who were with us during this wonderful trip. I have learnt alot from you guys.
Embrace, OCIP 2007
This holiday was also the first time I flew solo on an airplane. After OCIP, I was in Singapore for only 2 hours. After that, was the first solo flight in my life, flew to Perth to meet my family for holiday. Can you believe it, they were there 10 days before me, and I only went for the last 5 days. However, the 15 days of OCIP in Thailand was a fufilling journey. Perth was exceptionally cold even though it was summer. Thailand was cold too. Imagine mist from your breath in Thailand. Lol...it was because we were in Mae Hong Son, high up in the mountains where it was much colder. So I was experiencing winter in a tropical country. Lol. Perth was cold and windy. The pace of life there is so much slower than Singapore. The people in Perth really take their time to do things...maybe its their culture.
2 weeks of OCIP and a week of holidaying in Perth. Sometimes life has got a way of showing both extremes. First world country and Third world country. My eyes have been opened to the complexities in life and this has made me cherish my own life even more. Its back to the hustle and bustle of school life and the start of a brand new year. A levels are here and its time to focus.
Now for some pictures:
